We need your help to provide young people with the care, support, and resources that they need to thrive. From offering guidance and expertise to helping with essential services, your efforts directly contribute to creating a brighter future for vulnerable youth in our community.

Whether you are an individual or part of a larger community, corporate or faith-based group, we have opportunities available for you to get involved in helping unhoused and foster youth in your community. Your dedication can transform lives and bring hope where it’s needed most.

Hope Village Volunteer Weekend
January 25 - 26, 8am - 3pm

Join The Village and Hope The Mission as we get ready to welcome youth to our newest transitional age facility in Encino. The two impactful organizations will come together to house and offer mental health services to transitional age youth age 16-24 at the former Oak Tree Inn. 

Assemble a group of at least three friends, family members, co-workers or neighbors and commit to painting one bedroom. We ask for a donation of $75 per GROUP to cover all paint and supplies for the day. You can volunteer for one day or the whole weekend - we just ask that you complete the room you start on. 

We will provide all tools, coffee, snacks and lunch!

Host a Clothing, Toy or Hygiene Supply Drive
Year-Round

Host a drive to help unhoused and foster youth. Work with your church or local organization to collect items for hygiene kits, ask for new, unwrapped toys for foster youth in lieu of birthday presents... there are so many ways you can make a difference with your community.

You can collect items and drop them at our Drop-In Center or our offices. If you'd like to tour our Drop-In Center and meet our staff, you can even assemble hygiene kits on site (14 years and up, please) at the Drop-In Center.

Volunteer a Service at our Drop-In Center
Year-Round

Volunteer your time and donate your expertise in the form of services that improve the lives of our clients. We are specifically looking for individuals skilled in these areas:

- Barbering/styling services, especially those with experience with gender-affirming hair care
- Yoga, art, dance (or other) instructors who could teach a weekly class at our Drop-In Center (we ask for a 4-week commitment if you'd like to teach a class!)
- Life-skills instructors: financial literacy, self-defense, basic first aid
