Make an in-kind donation to The Village
In-kind donations are non-monetary contributions of goods or services. From basic necessities to tools for growth, every item you donate helps us create a safe and nurturing environment. Please note that we only accept new, unworn items. This policy promotes a sense of dignity and ensures our clients are receiving clean, usable items.
By making an in-kind gift, you are helping us reduce overhead so more of our dollars can go to our programs while improving the lives of those we serve! Your in-kind gift to the Village is tax-deductible, and we are happy to issue you a receipt when you provide us with a completed in-kind donation form.

Foster Care Wish List
- Gift cards to grocery stores and restaurants so resource families can always buy what they need for the children in their care
- New, unused backpacks and luggage. Moving often can be a traumatic experience, made worse when you don't have adequate luggage. We are always in need of these items for children!
- New school supplies, clothes and shoes in all children’s sizes are always appreciated, as are new toys, art supplies and sports equipment
Drop-in Center Wish List
- Unisex clothing, underwear, belts, and shoes, in all sizes (L-XXL are in highest demand)
- Cold weather clothing like beanies, gloves & jackets
- Blankets and sleeping bags
- Reusable water bottles
- Headphones and portable phone chargers
- Toiletries with full-sized items like deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, packages of body wipes, lotion
- $10-$25 gift cards (Target, Ralphs, Amazon, fast food, etc.)
Toy Drive Wish List
Every year we host a Holiday Toy Drive for the young people in our community who we serve. You can make a gift of a new toy or item to us year-round for kids aged 0-24. Popular items include:
- Gift cards - Sephora, Amazon, Fandango, Starbucks, Visa
- Lego sets, Barbie's and Disney items
- Electronics/tech items
- Art supplies and other items to encourage creativity
- Games and puzzles

Donate Services
In addition to essential items, you can donate services that improve the lives of the young people we serve. We are specifically looking for individuals skilled in these areas:
- Barbering/styling services, especially those with experience with gender-affirming hair care
- Yoga, art, dance (or other) instructors who could teach a weekly class at our Drop-In Center
- Life-skills instructors: financial literacy, self-defense, basic first aid

Get in Touch
If you have goods you'd like to drop off at our Laurel Canyon offices or Drop-In Center in North Hollywood, we request at least 48 hours notice so we can ensure we have adequate staffing to accept your gifts.
