Dear friends,

When I reflect on this past year, I think first about the people behind the numbers—the children searching for safety, the young people trying to find stability, the families working through incredibly difficult moments, and the individuals who simply needed someone to listen and care. Last year, The Village Family Services directly served 2,645 clients, reaching an estimated 6,612 children, youth, and family members across the community. Every story was different, but what connected them was a desire for hope, healing, and the opportunity to move forward.

I think about the young person who walked into our Drop-In Center unsure of where they would sleep that night. The child learning to trust again in a foster home. The parent overwhelmed by challenges but determined to create a better future for their family. These moments remind us why this work matters so deeply.

Our Drop-In Center for unhoused youth alone provided more than 30,000 supportive interactions last year to young people seeking resources, food, showers, laundry, guidance, and a place where they could feel safe, seen, and supported without judgment. Often, something as simple as a conversation, a meal, or a caring presence can become the first step toward stability and healing.

None of this happens alone.

Because of your support, children and families are able to access care sooner, young people are connected with housing and essential services more quickly, and individuals facing mental health challenges are met with compassion, consistency, and dignity every step of the way.

This past year also marked an important new chapter as we began establishing our presence in Tennessee to help address the growing need for foster care and family services. While every community has its own unique challenges, the heart of the work remains the same: making sure children, youth, and families know they are not alone.

What continues to inspire me most is the resilience of the people we serve and the kindness of those who choose to stand with them. As you read through this report, I hope you feel proud of the difference you have helped make possible. Behind every statistic is a person whose life has been touched by the care, support, and opportunities made available at The Village.

Thank you for taking this journey with us, I am deeply grateful for your support.

With gratitude,
